The analog-addressable remote indicator is an output device that is activated in case of state of alarm.
The device is constituted by an LED provided with a large viewing area and high contrast in the states on / off.
The CE.VFI100, placed outside of a room protected by the detectors, allows the quick localization of the place where you have an alarm. The device can be mounted on a wall or ceiling.
It is usually used to indicate the presence of a sensor in the false ceilings or underfloors.
Operates only in combination with control panels using the addressable protocol of communication to the control and data exchange; it requires an address and is switched on and off solely by the control panel.
To avoid that under certain conditions the loop becomes unstable, all the standard devices addressed incorporate a short circuit isolator which is directly connected to the line of the loop.
If the analog line for short circuit or absorbs an abnormal value of current, the isolator is opened isolating the segment of the loop that has presented the problem.
When the anomaly caused by short circuit or excessive current draw is over, the isolator is closed again by resetting the segment previously isolated. The isolator is controlled directly by the control panel.
To operate in an analog -addressable system, you must assign an address to each device. This can be done through the use of an appropriate tool (CE.VPU1000).
