4 INPUT + 4 RELAY OUTPUT MODULE CE.VMIC404
4 INPUT + 2 SUPERVISED OUTPUT MODULE CE.VMIC422
6 INPUT + 2 RELAY OUTPUT MODULE CE.VMIC602
The series of multi-modules is a family of compact microprocessor controlled interfaces that allows monitoring and control of auxiliary devices.
The modules are powered from the loop.
The addressable devices are designed to communicate through completely digital protocol that allows an exchange of information at high frequency between the control panel and the module ensuring a rapid and secure response.
On the device is present a bi-color LED (red / green) that is activated by the control panel. Rapid alarm and fault conditions.
Short circuit isolator
All addressable multi-modules are equipped with line isolator for short-circuit that controls the detection loop and that can also be activated by the control panel.
If the analog line has a short circuit or absorbs an abnormal value of current, the isolator is opened isolating the segment of the loop that has presented the problem.
When the anomaly caused by short circuit or excessive current draw is over, the isolator is closed again by resetting the segment previously isolated.
The multi-modules are equipped with 2 LEDs: one is dedicated to the input channel and the second to the output channel; they have bicolor red / green LEDs. When channels are in normal conditions, the state of the first input channel (considering the sequential order of addressing of the channels) has been indicated by the LED input and the state of the first output channel is signaled by the LED output . If the status of a channel is changed (to a fault or alarm), the corresponding LED will indicate the condition. If more than one channel is not in the normal state, it is reported that with the lowest address.
The multi-modules are analog-addressable devices. Each multi-module can be addressed with more than one address, this depends on the choices made by the fire prevention system installer. If installed in a loop, multi-module must have at least one address, with a value between 1 and 240, which corresponds to the first input channel that is always active and can not be disabled: all others are authorized by the the control panel automatically, each multi-module can have up to 8 sequential addresses and consecutive (without jumps of address).
Like any addressed device, each active channel can be controlled by the control panel and must have a unique address.
The first address of a multi-module can be set using a special device for programming CE.VPU1000.
A channel is a sub-device of the multi-module through which the control panel monitors and controls an auxiliary device that is not connected to the loop. The multi-modules are multichannel devices.
