The wireless thermal detector performs a continuous sampling the temperature variation of the area to be protected to provide in the shortest possible time the fire alarm.

The unit controls the temperature through a thermistor circuit which provides electrical signals that allow thermal analysis of the environment, ensuring detection efficiency with a high immunity to false alarms.

The electronic part of the detector is highly sophisticated. The performance of the detector is further improved by the integration of a special algorithm allowing an increased immunity to unwanted alarm conditions while maintaining a consistent level of sensitivity.

Each detector is equipped with a LED (red and green) strategically positioned to ensure a 360 ° visibility.

The operating frequency is 868Mhz (7 frequency channels). Communication range is 200m. This device is powered by a main battery (type CR123A, battery life: 5 years typical) and a secondary battery (type CR2032A, battery life: 2 months typical). The secondary battery will power the device only in case the main battery is low. The control panel indicates this fault.

All points should be pre-linked to a wire to wireless translator or to an expander module (refer to the related documentation).

The base is included. The detector can be locked to its base with a anti-tamper detector lock; it works as a deterrent to intentional removal performed by non authorized personnel.

The production of the detectors is carried out by applying a quality control system, which includes a series of rules regarding the construction of all the devices.

The multicriteria detectors are certified by an authorized third party certification body, (LPCB + BRE), in accordance with the standard EN 54-5:2000 + A1:2002, EN 54-25:2008.
