WIRELESS AUDIOVISUAL SOUNDER BASE CODE CE.SGRBS100-AV
The wireless audiovisual sounder base is a device that activates its output when ordered so by the control panel in the event of fire alarms. The activation command is sent from the control panel to the base sounder through the wire to wireless translator interface module and other possible wireless expander modules.
The operating frequency is 868Mhz (7 frequency channels). Communication range is 200m.
This device is powered by a main battery (type CR123A, battery life: 5 years typical) and a secondary battery (type CR123A, battery life: 2 months typical). The secondary battery will power the device only in case the main battery is low. The control panel indicates this fault.
This device is suitable for connection to the control panel ADR2A with which it communicates via a custom fully digital protocol through a wire to wireless translator. This ensures an exchange of information at high frequency between the control panel and the device providing a quick and safe response. It’s possible to connect up to 240 points per loop.
The control panel is able to automatically detect and identify all points connected to the detection circuits (loops), scanning all possible addresses (1 to 240). All points should be pre-linked to a wire to wireless translator or to an expander module (refer to the related documentation).
The detector can be locked to this base with a anti-tamper detector lock; it works as a deterrent to intentional removal performed by non authorized personnel.
To verify the correct operation, all devices can be tested after installation directly from the PC, with appropriate software, connected to the control panel ADR2A. All the points connected to the loop are cyclically tested so that the users have a complete situation of the firefighting system.
The production of these devices is carried out by applying a quality control system, which includes a series of rules regarding the construction of all the devices.
The wireless sounder bases are certified by an authorized third party certification body, (LPCB + BRE), in accordance with the standard EN 54-3, EN 54-25.
