WIRELESS ADDRESSABLE LINE

The addressable fire detection control panel ADR2A, in addition to managing wired addressable devices, has the opportunity to expand the analog system and its wired loops, interfacing with wireless devices addressable (sensors, input and output modules, push buttons, remote lights, sounders, acoustic devices and opto-acoustic).
This allows to expand the system addressable easily, allowing the addition of fire detection devices based on bi-directional communication protocol for the monitoring and control of detectors, modules and components wirelessly.
The radio communication complies with European standard EN54-25 and the devices are certified by third party authorized.
Messages are sent to the control panel via a translator module "wire to wireless" which interfaces the analog fire detection system wired to wireless system.

This module is connected to the wired line of the the ADR2A detection control panel, and allows to manage the wireless sensors as if they were part of the wired detection line.

The module, like any other compatible addressable device, is supplied directly from the analog circuit (loop) from the ADR2A control panel; its main function is to act as a translator literally between the wired system and the wireless system.

Operativity
The module enables to select one of the 7 radio channels (frequencies) available. Through the program scan of the radio provided you can choose a radio channel free or relatively free from other signals (in order to avoid, if possible, channels already in use).

And it is possible to configure the system via radio or directly from the keyboard and display of the interface or via a personal computer connected via RS232 using the software supplied. A display and a series of LEDs allow to know the status of the wireless devices connected, in particular we have the following information:
1) a device connected via radio to the interface that does not communicate, 2) presence of radio interference voluntary (jamming) performed in order to affect the exchange of data, 3) reporting the condition of used batteries, devices connected via radio 4) shows a tampering attempt of a radio device connected to it.

The wireless interface must have an address in the loop, the address of wireless devices will depart from the wireless interface (up to 32 wireless devices).

The wireless devices in the field have the same capabilities of their wired counterparts, but the communication between the detector and the central radio and is done through a translator module "wire to wireless" thanks to a bidirectional protocol owner.

It is possible to ascertain the quality of wireless communication of the sensor using the property test in the device. The basis of the flashing LED on the device is easy to verify which of the 4 following possibilities occurs:
1) Communication failure
2) Low level communication
3) Good level of communication
4) Excellent level of communication

Furthermore, we propose the wireless expansion module: a device that is connected to a translator module "wire to wireless," or to another extension module enables you to expand the coverage area of wireless system and / or install the system wireless in environments where radio communication is difficult.

The communication and data exchange between modules of expansion, between the module and its expansion, between the detectors and the expansion module and the module translator is only two-way wireless via a proprietary protocol.
The expansion module can be easily configured via a personal computer via its software.
Unlike most wireless devices, the expansion module is powered by an external power source and not by batteries.

It available a test kit whose purpose is to determine the quality of the radio signal coming directly from the coupler wire-wireless or retransmitted from wireless expansion device (repeater) to a specific point of the system where you want to install a wireless device .
